New Varsity Records

Griffin Campbell breaks his own varsity record for the 50 Free on Thursday, February 13, 2014 with a time of 22.74.  Sophomore Allie Heineman set a new varsity record in the 50 Free for the girls this past season with a time of 25.69 breaking the previous record of 26:11 that was set in 2007 by Kildea.  Nice job Griffin and Allie!

MISCA State Meet

The Williamston Middle School Swim Team sent 5 swimmers to the MISCA State Meet on Saturday, February 1, 2014. They competed against schools in all divisions from all over the state. Nicolaus Edwards placed 11th in the 50 Free and 12th in the 100 Free taking home the hardware, way to go Nic! Jack Bellinger, James Schafer, Hayden Torra and Sam Hetherington also did well, dropping times and finishing in the top 25.

Campbell Breaks Record

Congratulations to Williamston junior Griffin Campbell for setting a new WLC varsity record during Thursday’s meet against Corunna.  Campbell swam the 50 yd freestyle in 22.75 breaking the previous record of 22.86 that was set in 2012 by Parmer.
